01 Who we are
Solutions Svrnty (9549-3177 Québec inc.), 3550 rue de Cherbourg, Suite 101, Trois-Rivières, Québec G8Y 6S6, is responsible for the personal information described here.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Jean-Philippe Brûlé, President. For any question or request: [email protected].
02 Scope
This policy covers the svrnty.io website and the Svrnty apps and services that refer to it, including Azimuth, Millwright, Lumendesk and Cortex. What is specific to one app is set out under “Product details”.
Our apps are often used by client businesses, such as your employer or a merchant. For information processed as part of their operations, that business decides what is collected and how it is used; we process it on its behalf and according to its instructions. It has its own privacy policy.
03 Information we collect
On the website:
- Contact form: your name, email, company, the subject of your request and your message, plus your IP address to limit abuse.
- Directions to our office: if you click “Get directions”, your browser asks for your position. It is sent to our routing server only to calculate the route.
- Maps: map tiles load from our servers, which receive your IP address as with any web page.
- The website uses no advertising cookies and no audience analytics.
In our apps:
- Account: your name, email, organization and role, usually created by your organization.
- Sign-in: sign-in tokens and a device identifier, kept in your device’s secure storage.
- Content: what you enter or upload in the app as part of your work.
- Technical data: what the service needs to run and stay secure, such as IP addresses and error logs.
Information specific to each app, such as location or photos, is described under “Product details”.
04 Why we use it
- To provide the service requested by you or your organization.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To answer your contact and support requests.
- To improve our products, using anonymized information.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or build marketing profiles.
05 Who we share it with
- The client business for which you use the app, as far as the service requires.
- Our hosting and storage providers, who act on our instructions. Our emails are sent by our own email server.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Providers specific to one app are listed under “Product details”.
06 Product details
Azimuth (fleet and delivery management)
For drivers:
- Precise location: during your routes and navigation, including in the background when the screen is locked or you use CarPlay, to show your vehicle to dispatch and guide you.
- Free drives: with a personal vehicle, your drives outside routes are shared by default; you can turn this off in the app settings. With a company vehicle, the position is always shared while the app is in use.
- Deliveries: arrival, delivery or skipped-stop times, notes and proof-of-delivery photos.
- Camera: for proof-of-delivery photos and to read the QR code that adds an organization. The QR code image is not kept.
For delivery recipients:
- Your name, address and contact details (email or phone), sent by the merchant’s store, along with the delivery status and the proof photo.
- If the merchant turns on notifications, you receive an email whose link to the proof photo stays valid for seven days.
Providers specific to Azimuth:
- Google, when the client business turns these features on: to convert delivery addresses into coordinates (geocoding) and to suggest addresses while typing in the web console (Google Places). The typed text and addresses go through our server; Google does not receive your name.
- Depending on the client business, proof photos may be stored with Akamai (Linode Object Storage) in the United States.
- Delivery notifications are sent by our own email server; message contents are stored with Akamai (Linode Object Storage) in Toronto, Canada.
07 Information outside Québec
Some information may be stored or processed outside Québec, elsewhere in Canada or in the United States, as described in this policy. Before any such transfer, we assess the privacy-related factors and make sure the information receives adequate protection, as the law requires.
08 Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described or required by law, then destroy or anonymize it. For information processed on behalf of a client business, we follow its instructions and our agreement with it.
- Contact form messages: up to seven years after our last exchange.
- App information, such as Azimuth’s positions, deliveries, notes and proof photos: for the period set by the client business, up to seven years after collection.
Anonymized information can no longer identify anyone. We may keep and use it, with no time limit, to improve our products, including through machine-learning models.
09 Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is limited by role. Sign-in tokens stay in the device’s secure storage, and links to shared files are signed and expire.
10 Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, port or delete your information, and withdraw your consent. You can also remove an app’s permissions, such as location or camera, at any time in your device’s settings.
If your information is processed on behalf of a client business, contact that business first; we will help it respond. Otherwise, write to us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
You may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
11 Deleting your account
When your account was created by your organization, ask it to delete the account, or write to us at [email protected] with the app and the name of your organization. We delete the account and the information tied to it, except what the law or the client business requires us to keep, within 60 days at most, usually in less than a week.
12 Children
The website and our apps are not intended for people under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13 Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; for significant changes, we will let you know in the app concerned or on the website.
